Not long now before we all go up to Burgos, in Spain, to ride the epic Camino de Santiago. We thought we would give Cycling Rentals a try! That's right, we will be using our own services to get our bikes up there - essentially our Camino rental packs - to ride the St James Way.
This is a bare bones cycling event with no frills, just pure Camino thrills and goodness. Legend, epic rides and plenty of stories to tell your children one day! Cycling Rentals co-founder Catherine has been guiding trips along the Camino for over 10 years; this event is a great chance to share her wealth of knowledge for free! Tag along, join us on the way or meet at a refugio for a drink!
We will be riding the Camino Frances from the 18th to the 28th of July. We would love to see you - join us or follow this ride on Facebook.
New Bicycle Guide Apps

We get cyclists from all over the world and sometimes language can be a bit of an issue with printed route maps.
We decided to make things easier and a whole lot more fun with Android and iPhone Bike Guides.
Cycling Rentals Guides feature GPS location, Photos, Information and Audio Guides, these interactive route maps make sure riders get from point to point on the best possible route and don't miss a thing.
Right now we have two apps live which have been designed specifically for our Sintra No Sweat E Bike tours, that take you around 2 or 4 of Sintra's most iconic monuments - Pena Palace / Capuchos Convent / Monserrate Palace and the Moorish Castle. Expect more guides in the coming weeks for Road and Mountain biking.
Check out our brand new Android Apps at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mytoursapp.android.app345 and let us know what you think, we will act on your suggestions, so do let us know how we can improve!

Quarteira ITU Triathlon
Rainy, cold, gray... Not what we associate with the sunny Algarve, but that was the weather last weekend for the Quarteira ITU European Cup Triathlon. Elite triathlete Ben Howard was riding one of our BH Prisma race bikes and held it together on a seriously slippery course.
Building up to the event Ben was with Tri Training Harder who run our Training Camps in Vilamoura.
If you are looking for pro sports coaching or simply interested in getting to know a little more about Triathlon, get in touch!

Racing Season Wide Open
Spring is in the air and legs are twitching for the upcoming race season. Our 2012 racing kit has just arrived in time for this weekends' kick-off with mountain bike and road events.

The Sintra Marathon is a technical 75km race and our Freeride expert Ralph M from LisbonCoastCottages.com will be wearing the CTTC Racing team colours. Elite triathlete Ben Howard is on a Cycling Rentals carbon race bike for the Quarteira Triathlon also this weekend.
Coming up soon is the Las Vegas UCI Granfondo road race, and our man Nate C will be bringing Team CTTC Racing across the Atlantic for that. We will kee you posted here on more. If you ride in events and would like to affiliate, we are always looking for road / mountain and triathlon athletes, so get in touch and we will gladly send you a race kit!
A shout out to our co-sponsors Tri Training Harder who run our Training Camps and Green Oil who make sure we keep our bike and environment in great shape. To our racers: Go hell for lycra boys!
